Zottegem offers nature lovers and the more active holidaymaker a wide range of options. Zottegem is a vibrant town with a busy town centre where there is always something to experience. There is an archaeological museum where you can see how people lived in prehistoric times. You can marvel at the 19th-century country style of Breivelde Castle estate. Other nice destinations in the area include Oudenaarde, Kluisbergen and, of course, Ghent. The area is outstanding for hiking and cycling.
